Transport Driver

Your Responsibilities: Your role as a transport driver is crucial to our business as you deliver an essential product to companies and Blarney Castle customer locations. This position is based out of Alma, Michigan, with dispatched routes scheduled for you. As a transport driver, our service areas are local in nature within a 100 mile radius. Which also means sleeping at home!  

Please be comfortable communicating clearly. A focus on small details and directions will be key, since ensuring accurate electronic log records and driver sheets will be a daily task. Keeping safety a focus under Federal and State DOT Regulations will be crucial to the safety of yourself and others. You’ll want to take pride in your vehicle by maintaining its basic needs and performing pre-and-post trip inspections. The majority of our fleet is equipped with 13 speed manual transmissions. 

Class A Commercial Driver’s License, Air Brake, Tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements are required, along with at least 2 years of experience operating heavy haul equipment. Have other qualifications on your resume? Fantastic! We can't wait to talk to you and learn more!
